Béatrice et Bénédict – Opéra Comique, Paris 2002

 

This performance was part of the Orchestre de Paris’ bicentenary celebrations programme, under the auspices of the Comité International Hector Berlioz.

The Opéra Comique (Salle Favart) was the theatre were Berlioz’s Légende Dramatique, La Damnation de Faust, was premiered on 6 December 1846. His overture Waverley was also performed there on 25 February 1829. 

Benvenuto Cellini – Théâtre Mogador, Paris 2003

 

The two performances of Cellini, on 2 and 4 April 2003, were also part of the Orchestre de Paris’ bicentenary celebrations programme.
